of-Analysis-Indonesia-5-Regions) is an interregional computable general equilibrium (CGE) model for Indonesia where Indonesian economy consists of five distinct economies—Sumatra, Java-Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Eastern Indonesian —that are connected through flows of commodities, factors and inter-institutional transfers.

It is a bottom-up inter-regional CGE model based on inter-regional SAM table. The model was developed as part of Analyzing Pathway to Sustainability in Indonesia (APSI) project supported by CSIRO, BAPPENAS, Ausaid, and The World Bank.
Analyzing Pathway to Sustainability in Indonesia (APSI) project offers the opportunity to fine-tune policy and development plans to get the best outcomes for the nation, the people and the environment. At the practical level, the APSI project is aimed at providing powerful tools that allow policy makers to better understand the consequences of various policy scenarios of development As part of the project, IRSA-INDONESIA-5 was developed as an attempt to provide relevant Indonesian policy makers with an analytical tool to better understand the economy-wide and inter-regional impact of the policies they formulated. The mastery of this tool will be of greater importance in generating more informed policy making in the future.
